love & blessings of Sri Sai Kaleshwar Swami have been pouring
through the lives and hearts of many, many friends, colleagues and
family members of UCBK for many years, and many lifetimes.
Despite his samadhi in March of 2012, the energy and blessing force
of Sri Kaleshwar's presence has only been increasing palpably, in
the lives and consciousness of all of us. His physical life
was an exceptional one, characterized by intense beauty, healing,
love, sacrifice, dedication and the inspiration to help humanity, no
matter what. His consciousness life, all-pervading, loving,
supporting, and present in phenomenal ways great and small, is a
profound example of the transcendence of a divine soul.
UCBK is super-blessed to have had his physical presence here, with
us, in 2011, for a powerful series of experiences ranging from a
public talk, to private group meetings and a fire homa that
activated the grounds and atmosphere of the whole UCBK area.

Supporting The Bulding To Shiva Rathri By Increasing The Five

As part of the increasing Shiva energy, we've created a Five Elements
Series of practical, experiential modules at UCBK -- in each of
the five weeks of the 41 days, each element will be
explored/implemented through a 3-day set of pujas and meditations, a
special process and bhajans/kirtan.
We will be offering a special pujari training course at UCBK, so
that anyone who would like to learn the proper way to do fire homas,
abisheks, and arathis can be trained to do these ceremonies -- and
then sign up to be the pujari or pujarini at each of the different

Everyone is invited to enjoy these element events for a minimal
donation at UCBK, as they're able -- these Five Elements
events are open to anyone who wants to come share the energy --

Why is a group dynamic so important, and a fundamental part of
any serious spiritual undertaking?
One part of the answer lies in a mysterious concept called
'protection circles,' the soul (and angelic) layers of support and
mystical protection that are developed any time more than one or two
people come together to share spiritual practice.
There is a compelling story about a group of Japanese monks
meditating at the time the United States dropped the atomic bomb on
the Japanese city of Hiroshima -- IN Hiroshima. The whole city was
reduced to fire and ash but their monastery kept standing and the
whole group of monks was unharmed by the explosion and subsequent
radiation.
Why? Protection circles, because they were
meditating together as a group.
There really is no substitute for group experience, group spiritual
practice, and the support that can be found in a spiritual
community. A group can advance spiritually in a rapid way,
where an individual is more likely to get stuck and flounder.
The satsang experience, on a weekly basis, reminds people who are
committed to living a spiritual life about the importance of
meditation, healing, inspiration, support, love, understanding and
compassion on a day-to-day level, as a practical function of
spiritual discipline. It gives everyone a chance to go deeper into
their spiritual practice and meditation experiences, and to ask
questions along the way about the different stages and adventures of
spiritual life.
