Saturday Feburary 4th — The Power of Ganesh! Mini-Retreat at UCBK

A short action-packed program in the Ganesh energy -- full of knowledge grinding/satsang, group meditation & a fire homa

Join UCBK in a deep dive -- straight into the Ganesh energy!  Ganesh, the beloved elephant-headed deity known for removing obstacles, is one of the most important and significant divine characters in the Sai lineage and energy channels. He is so so so much more than a jolly obstacle-remover -- the keeper of siddhis, an incredible protection against illusion, the closest soul to Mother Divine, and...  the doorway to the i\nner mechanisms of kandhana yoga.

As a group, we'll go deeper into the experience of this divine knowledge, and its accompanying consciousness, together, and implement the energy of Lord Ganesh.  Knowledge is one thing, experience is another -- and implementing that knowledge is a high divine joy!

In the richness of the Ganesh energy, we'll share satsang & a knowledge grind around Sri Kaleshwar's teachings on this amazing character, experience and use a short Ganesh fire homa, and meditate deeply as a group, sending the intensely joyful healing & blessing energy that's generated in this homa.

Sunday February 5th — Healing Through The Celestial Channels Of The Angels: The Five Elements Process

An all-day workshop in a powerful healing & self-healing system using the five elements of nature

The Five Elements is a vital part of the ‘new ancient tradition’ of healing and miracle energy systems being introduced, for the first time in milleniae, back to humanity.

A profound system of healing for oneself and others, The Five Elements Process involves learning an on-going meditation practice, with healing techniques, in order to align with the building blocks of creation – the vibrations of earth, water, fire, sky and air.  Since everything in this creation, including the human form, is composed of these elements, this process is revealing, step by step, the 'access code' (like a PIN number) for each element.

Once you’ve charged your soul with the elements’ vibrations through a series of mantra practices, you can then use those elements to restore and create health, vitality, balance, emotional well-being and spiritual awakenings in yourself and in other people.

During this class, people will have access to the Five Elements mantras and how to use them for healing.   We'll be sharing details about the angelic energies in the elements of Nature, how to build relationship with them, and use that relationship to help others.

The Five Elements is a foundation practice – the beginning of a deep adventure into healing channels, profound meditations, and an enlivened soul relationship with Nature.

“Choosing to practice these powerful vibration mantras I am giving is a purification process for your soul. Purifying your soul through these mantras gives very higher peace and connects you to the cosmic energy. Cosmic energy means, connecting to God.”
                                                                — Sri Kaleshwar, on the Five Elements

Tuesday February 21st —  New Moon Healing Fire Homa (Ceremony)

Purifying the soul through the fire element

Charging & decharging through the powerful energy of the New Moon

Better living through fire & meditation, increasing prosperity & connecting to the Mother Divine...
Come charge and decharge your soul fires in Bonny Doon!

Come enjoy the healing power of the fire element, at a Vedic fire ceremony (homa, or yagyam).  Using the power of the new moon (when the moon is dark) to help decharge whatever stress, strain, anxiety, dis-ease, and overwhelm, you'll find a rapid release and relief in your life -- leaving you free to create beautiful activities or maintain balance in your everyday life.

The ancient saints of India kept their sacred fires burning continually, as a way of helping purify the atmosphere and the consciousness in this world. One fire homa is roughly the equivalent of a month's worth of focused meditation, to the soul -- it's a huge charging up, a strengthening, of our soul fires.

About The Sai Shakti Satsang

Sai Shakti Satsang includes some sacred song (bhajan) singing, peaceful & uplifting healing meditation, followed by a group discussion around a spiritual subject...

Jonathan & Alx share knowledge, insights, and spiritual healing energy from this 'new ancient tradition' of Shirdi Sai Baba & his lineage of healing saints, leading to a group question-and-answer discussion to create sat-sang (literally, 'divine truth in a group setting').

New!  Join Sai Shakti Satsang by phone from anywhere in the world!

You can also join Sai Shakti Satsang by remote conference call - send an email to the UCBK Temple if you'd like to be included in UCBK's notification emails (including the phone number and access code).

"I'm happily applauding and promoting your Thursday night satsang-over-the-phone. I am literally amazed, impressed and inspired that the Divine knowledge can be so wonderfully, skillfully and thoroughly presented and shared over the phone... "
        -- C.M., Palo Alto, CA

"As the call progressed I realized that my self-doubt and fear is part of the process of going to a deeper level.

When the two of you spoke of how when you realized that "the energy is running in YOU" ... and that we're not going to India to sit in his lap, that it's about communicating on an internal level,  I thought, "that's what started to happen to me. WOW!!!!!! OH MY GOD!"

A step towards clarity.  That's why I'm going to Penukonda in February.
I want to start to harvest this strange surge of energy that he's opened up for me and to THINK on it.  Instead of running around here in New York like a lunatic."
                                                      --   V.J., New York

Why is a group dynamic so important, and a fundamental part of any serious spiritual undertaking?

One part of the answer lies in a mysterious concept called 'protection circles,' the soul (and angelic) layers of support and mystical protection that are developed any time more than one or two people come together to share spiritual practice.

There is a compelling story about a group of Japanese monks meditating at the time the United States dropped the atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima -- IN Hiroshima. The whole city was reduced to fire and ash but their monastery kept standing and the whole group of monks was unharmed by the explosion and subsequent radiation.

Why?    Protection circles, because they were meditating together as a group.

There really is no substitute for group experience, group spiritual practice, and the support that can be found in a spiritual community.  A group can advance spiritually in a rapid way, where an individual is more likely to get stuck and flounder.

The satsang experience, on a weekly basis, reminds people who are committed to living a spiritual life about the importance of meditation, healing, inspiration, support, love, understanding and compassion on a day-to-day level, as a practical function of spiritual discipline. It gives everyone a chance to go deeper into their spiritual practice and meditation experiences, and to ask questions along the way about the different stages and adventures of spiritual life.

You can find out more about this expression of 'groupism' by checking out Alx' blog.

Alx & Jonathan returned to Santa Cruz in March 2005, after spending seven years studying in India. Their training was/is in intense spirituality and healing techniques from a Shiva-Shakti** tradition with the miracle healing lineage (Guru Parampara) of Shirdi Sai Baba, Jesus Christ, and other luminous saints.

**Shakti - 1) high powerful divine energy. 2) the Feminine divine force, expressed as the principle of creation. 3) part of the mechanism of miracles. 4) another name for the Divine Mother or Goddess.

What They're Saying

"It is truly a delight to watch the two of you step into leadership with such love and dedication. It shows a true self mastery to be able to give so much so deeply to so many. May all your days be blessed and may you feel the gratitude of my heart for your sharing of the sacred knowledge."
                                                                                                    — G.R., Grover Beach

"Thank you for the wonderful Saturday evening, your presence and the knowledge you shared. My inspiration is back on track, I found it not very easy to do it all alone."
                                                                                              —
Y., Los Angeles

"Again, Blessings to you both for your wonderful work and sharing the Divine Knowledge. I will certainly do my part to keep the energy going..."
                                                                                              — S., Los Angeles
