Divinely Disguised: The Stories Behind The
Bhajans, Kirtan & Mantras
Join Alx & Jonathan, members of The
Mystic JAMMS Band, in a divinely fun and informative exploration of
the stories behind the deities and celestial beings The Jamms sing
about during the healing kirtan experience following this
mini-workshop. In the Vedic (Indian spiritual) tradition, the great
divine writers hid the divine energy mechanisms of enlightenment,
creation, siddhi and healing in the stories of gods and goddesses,
saints and siddhas, rishis (seers) and rakshasas (demons).
How these characters interact in the divine dramas creates the
dynamic and exciting world of spiritual experience that human beings
intuit but don't necessary have words to articulate. This
mini-workshop will provide insight and information into the
different holy characters -- from the inside -- as a kind of
'behind-the-scenes' deciphering of these divine energies &
mechanisms, before the entire Mystic
Jamms Band convenes to lead the group in a high-powered healing
kirtan experience.

A five-piece, multiple harmony kirtan, bhajans and mantra ensemble,
The Mystic Jamms Band includes veteran sacred musicians Jonathan D.
Rosen, Alx Uttermann, Carmen DeVida, James Jarvis and Martin
Lawrence. Harnessing the healing power of their Shiva-Shakti
tradition, the Jamms sing the divine names & magic formulas (bhajan,
kirtan & mantra) to unlock your own flow of peace, happiness, and
joy.
